II. Interface & Compatibility
Q3: Is your display compatible with my board (e.g., Raspberry Pi, RK series, Jetson) or device? How do I confirm?
A: Confirm compatibility in two steps:
1) Match Interface:
If the board has LVDS/eDP output, just provide the board's specifications. We will make the corresponding cable to connect the bare panel to the board.
If the board has HD MI/DP output, besides the corresponding cable, an LVDS/eDP to HD MI/DP controller board is also required. We can provide compatibility confirmation.
2) Replace Old Screen: The most accurate method is to disassemble the device and check the complete model number of the original screen, ensuring the purchase model matches it exactly. Consult LEEHON if unsure.
Q4: Can I use a screen with a different suffix (e.g., A01, A02)?
A: When the main model is the same but the suffix differs, it usually represents different batches or minor versions. Their core parameters (size, resolution, interface, mounting dimensions) are generally consistent and can be used interchangeably in most cases.
However, to ensure 100% compatibility and optimal display performance, we strongly recommend prioritizing a product that exactly matches your original screen's model (including suffix). Consult our technical support if confirmation is needed.
III. Display Panel Design & Customization
Q5: Do you provide complete modules with metal housings or front panels?
A: No. We only provide:
"Bare Panel": Only the LCD panel and backlight.
"LCD Module (LCM)": "Bare Panel" + controller board + cable + touch (optional), providing standard signal input.
Q6: Can you customize the screen size, resolution, or shape?
A: No. All our screens are standard A+ grade brand-new original brand LCD Panel. Therefore, we only support customization of the corresponding kits, for example:
Custom cables (adjust length/position, modify pin arrangement, add extra connectors, customize irregular circuits).
Custom touch screen bonding methods (traditional air bonding, OCR optical bonding, OCA/LOCA optical bonding).
Custom touch screen cover glass (adjust thickness, customize black/white color, design shape).
Custom touch screen surface coatings (AG/AF/AR).
IV. Environmental Suitability & Reliability
Q7: Do you have models that operate normally in low temperatures?
A: Our products are basically industrial wide-temperature screens, can support -20~70°C or even -30~80°C ranges. Wide-temperature screens use special liquid crystal materials and backlight design. Please clearly state your temperature requirements during selection.
Q8: What is the display's lifespan? Is the backlight prone to damage?
A: Display lifespan mainly depends on the backlight source (LED). We use high-quality LEDs. Under standard operating conditions, their brightness half-life (time for brightness to drop to half) typically exceeds 30,000 to 100,000 hours. Optimized heat dissipation design and constant current driving further ensure long-term stable operation.
